From 2022 to 2024, Dak R'lap district has supported 7 cooperatives and cooperative groups to apply VietGAP standards with nearly 177 hectares of fruit trees including durian, passion fruit, longan and lychee.
Specifically, Truong Thinh Agricultural Trade and Service Cooperative was supported to build a VietGAP durian garden of over 50 hectares; Mam Xanh Cooperative developed passion fruit on over 25 hectares; Manh Quan Cooperative associated with longan and lychee on over 16 hectares; and Cooperative of Hamlet 2, Dak Sin Commune with 60 hectares of durian.

Applying the production process according to VietGAP standards has helped people minimize pesticide residues, improve the quality of fresh fruit, and easily trace the origin.
Cooperatives participating in the model reported an average increase in selling prices of 15-20% compared to non-standard products, and a significant increase in post-harvest profits.
In addition, attention is paid to preliminary processing and preservation. Many cooperatives invest in cold storage systems and automatic sorting conveyors, helping to extend preservation time and reduce post-harvest loss to less than 5%.
After forming a standard production area, Dak R'lap district coordinated with the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment to issue growing area codes (MSVT) and build a facility to package agricultural products for export.
Up to now, the whole district has 20 MSVTs issued for fruit trees, concentrated in areas growing durian, passion fruit, longan...
4 durian packaging facilities with a scale of 6,700m², about 480 tons have completed the standards of the factory, washing line, classification, packaging to meet the requirements of official export to the Chinese and US markets.

Thanks to MSVT and standard packaging facilities, in 2024, Truong Thinh Agricultural Trade and Service Cooperative exported about 200 tons of fresh durian, earning more than 12.8 billion VND.
Implementing the project of linking product consumption chain for cooperatives, in 2024, the Provincial Cooperative Union handed over 1 color separator to classify fresh coffee berries into 2 types: ripe and green, with a capacity of 2 - 3 tons/hour, supporting the cooperative with 100m2 of greenhouse for drying and 1 color separator for coffee beans for Dak Ka Fair Trade Agricultural Cooperative.
In 2024, the District Department of Agriculture and Environment will support the application of production according to ISO and HACCP standards for Hoan Phuong Cooperative and Dak Ka Fair Trade Agricultural Cooperative.
Along with support for standards and exports, Dak R'lap district has actively advised on the development of high-tech agriculture. The highlight is the construction of a high-tech coffee growing area in Quang Tin commune, with a scale of about 300 hectares.
This project was launched in September 2024, with the goal of applying drip irrigation systems, greenhouses, organic microbial fertilizers and automatic environmental monitoring.
Through the initial implementation phase, the model has proven effective: coffee productivity increased by an average of 20-25% compared to traditional farming, reducing 30% of fertilizer and irrigation water costs, and producing consistent quality beans.

Farming households participating in the model recorded an increase in income of 10 - 15 million VND/ha per harvest. Moreover, the application of high technology has fundamentally changed small-scale, fragmented farming habits, encouraging systematic, sustainable production and easy access to international standards.
Dak R'lap district currently has 21 3-star OCOP products. OCOP products not only identify the local name but also open up opportunities to promote trade and agricultural tourism experiences.
Dak R'lap district has established an OCOP exhibition and introduction area to promote and connect with e-commerce platforms, creating conditions for cooperatives to expand sales channels.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nen, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak R'lap district, said that by focusing on supporting quality standards, building MSVT, packaging facilities, investing in high-tech agriculture and promoting OCOP, Dak R'lap district has laid a solid foundation for sustainable development.
The growth figures in productivity, revenue and higher selling prices all confirm the effectiveness of agricultural development linked to quality and consumer markets.
Dak R'lap district has about 9,000 hectares of high-tech agricultural production, of which about 5,000 hectares of crops are produced according to quality standards of VietGAP, HACCP, ISO, RFA, 4C...
