Dak Nong border district has the first new rural commune

From a purely agricultural commune with difficult infrastructure conditions, after a period of implementing the new rural development program, Dak Buk So commune has made remarkable progress in all aspects. Average income per capita reached over 54 million VND/year, the poverty rate decreased to 8.5%.

Mr. Ngo Xuan Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Nong province, awarded a certificate of recognition to Dak Buk So commune for meeting the NTM standards in 2024 and a reward of a social welfare project worth 800 million VND.

Regarding infrastructure, 100% of commune roads have been asphalted or concreted; 100% of village and hamlet roads have been hardened to meet standards; 99% of households use safe national grid electricity; the irrigation system basically meets production needs.

The commune has 6 schools that all meet national standards, the commune health station meets standards and is invested in equipment to provide primary health care for the people.

In agricultural production, the commune has formed many effective economic models such as: eggplant, vegetable, clean coffee, clean pepper, developing farms from 1-5 hectares, raising goats, deer ... ... contributing to creating stable jobs and increasing income for people.

Tuy Duc district also rewarded collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to the construction of new rural areas in Dak Buk So commune in recent times.

After more than 5 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Dak Buk So commune has completed 19/19 criteria.
