In the 2025-2026 school year 10th grade entrance exam, there are 3 exam sites in Phuc Yen city. To ensure medical work at the exam sites, Phuc Yen City Medical Center has proactively developed a plan, each exam site has 1 doctor on duty, ensuring timely and effective response to the health care of exam staff and candidates participating in the exam when required during the exam.
In addition, the City Health Center has established a mobile emergency team, an epidemic prevention and control team, and a food safety and hygiene team, ensuring emergency readiness, ready means and equipment, and timely response to emergency situations.
Before and during the exam, the City Health Center will coordinate with relevant departments to inspect food hygiene and safety, especially restaurants and eateries near exam locations; coordinate with exam locations to strictly implement regulations on disease prevention and control.
Doctor Hoang Huong Tra, an officer of Phuc Yen City Medical Center, in charge of medical work at Ben Tre High School exam site, said: “The exam site has arranged a medical room, fully prepared with medicine and medical supplies to provide first aid for common illnesses, take care of the health of candidates, exam invigilators and handle unexpected medical situations during the exam.
To contribute to the success of the exam, ensure the health and safety of candidates and exam supervisors, I always uphold the sense of responsibility in the process of performing assigned duties and tasks; strictly follow the rules and regulations of the Examination Council, and absolutely do not affect the activities of the Examination Council and the students' exams."
Nguyen Thai Hoc High School has a total of 545 candidates taking the exam in 23 exam rooms. Here, Vinh Yen City Health Center has arranged 1 medical staff on duty at the exam site, coordinating with the staff in charge of school health work of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School to implement measures to prevent and control epidemics, ensure food safety and hygiene and provide first aid, promptly respond to possible medical situations.
Previously, the City Health Center coordinated with functional units to conduct food safety inspections for units providing meals to examination boards in the area; strengthen the management of street food around the examination sites. At the same time, instruct examination sites to arrange medical rooms for medical staff to perform first aid, care, and monitor the health of candidates and exam participants; direct medical stations near examination sites to be ready to receive, provide first aid, and support examination sites when requested.
Implementing the direction of the Steering Committee for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, since May, the Department of Health has developed a plan to ensure medical work at the exam and deployed it to all affiliated units. To ensure medical work, disease prevention and control, and food safety and hygiene for the exam in a timely, correct, economical, and effective manner, the Department of Health assigned units to proactively use medicines, supplies, equipment, etc. available at the unit according to the "4 on-site" motto during the implementation of tasks, promptly providing first aid and handling medical situations.
The district and city health centers have urgently carried out their assigned tasks, proactively followed the plan, coordinated with the examination councils and examination sites to have plans to ensure medical work; assigned medical staff with professional capacity, without relatives taking the exam during the exam to be on duty at the examination sites; arranged vehicles, emergency medicine, and necessary tools to be ready for first aid and emergency care at the examination sites.
At the same time, step up propaganda for restaurants, hotels, and eateries in the area surrounding the exam sites about ensuring food safety during the exam period; coordinate to strengthen food safety inspections, monitor food safety conditions at restaurants and eateries serving candidates and their families near the exam sites; monitor the food safety quality of foods, foodstuffs, and drinks supported and sponsored by organizations and individuals for the exam sites.
In addition, implementing the direction of the Department of Health, all medical examination and treatment facilities in the province are ready with at least 10 hospital beds each, ensuring human resources, medicine, medical supplies, equipment, and necessary medical facilities to respond promptly in case of emergency; establishing a permanent mobile emergency team at the unit, ensuring medical facilities, equipment, and communication ready to mobilize to perform tasks when required.
With the proactiveness of the health sector, the synchronous coordination of relevant levels and sectors, measures to ensure the health of candidates and exam staff, as well as food safety and hygiene, and disease prevention at exam sites have all been implemented seriously and effectively, contributing to the exam taking place safely, smoothly and promising high results.
