Case of 7 teenage girls beating and electrocuting their friend: Victims were electrocuted in the head, neck, legs and arms

Regarding the clip that appeared on social media recording a young woman being beaten by a group of friends and electrocuted with a baton on many parts of her body, Binh Thuan Provincial Police have reported the entire incident.

According to Binh Thuan Provincial Police, earlier, on the morning of May 31, a clip was circulated on Facebook showing a young woman being assaulted and electrocuted by a group of young women, suspected to have occurred in Phan Thiet City, causing panic among the public.

Immediately afterwards, the Criminal Police Department of Binh Thuan Province Police sent 4 investigation teams to verify the information and search for the people appearing in the clip.

By 12:45 p.m. the same day, the authorities had clearly identified the group of subjects and the victims, along with the evidence of electric shock pliers.

Through working with the group of young women, the authorities determined that due to a previous conflict on social media, at noon on May 24, LTMH and NNHP (both born in 2011) arranged to meet at a coffee shop near Le Hong Phong Bridge (Phan Thiet City) to resolve the conflict.

At 7:30 p.m. the same day, MH brought electric shock pliers with LTN, TTHH (both born in 2011) and 2 other people to the meeting place and met HP with 2 other people.

Because they could not resolve the conflict, they all went to the empty lot behind Trung Vuong Secondary School (Duc Long Ward, Phan Thiet City) to fight.

Here, TN wrestled HP to the ground so MH could use an electric baton to shock HP's head, neck, back, and arms multiple times. At this time, HH used his phone to record the incident, while others stood watching. After beating HP, MH's group left.

When she got home, HH sent the video clip to LTN and two other people. The video clip was then posted on Facebook.

According to Binh Thuan Provincial Police, all of the girls have dropped out of school. This is a wake-up call for the responsibility of families and society in managing andeducating their children, as the perpetrators are all very young, but because of conflicts in the "virtual" society, they committed acts of hooliganism in "real" life.

Currently, Binh Thuan Provincial Police are continuing to determine the behavior, collect evidence and documents to handle according to the provisions of law.
