To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of musician Van Cao (1923 - 2023) - author of the Vietnamese National Anthem Tien Quan Ca and hundreds of other valuable works, the Vietnam Musicians Association will organize the program "Dan Chim Viet" at 8:00 p.m. on August 20 at the Hanoi Opera House.

From epics, epics to love songs, musician Van Cao has created a musical chronicle of love for the Fatherland, national sentiment with a desire for peace and wishes for the future. Through his works, musician Van Cao has contributed a unique tone to the flow of Vietnamese music.

Van Cao was not only a musician and revolutionary soldier, he was also known as a poet with profound philosophical and humane verses; a multi-talented painter.

With “Vietnamese Birds”, the audience will discover the colorful areas in the paintings and music of musician Van Cao, thereby further appreciating the artistic values that musician Van Cao has contributed to the country's music industry... The program has the participation of artists from the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Army ceremonial troupe, and artists from the Sun Symphony Orchestra.
