In recent years, facing many difficulties due to the severe impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change, low prices of rubber products, etc., the Party Committee of the 15th Corps has closely followed the Party's resolutions, policies, State laws, leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , proactively proposed appropriate solutions to overcome difficulties and successfully complete assigned political tasks. Focus on building a Corps that is strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres. Build a team of cadres, party members, soldiers and workers with steadfast political will in the face of all difficulties and challenges, consensus and efforts to successfully complete all assigned tasks; resolutely fight against all manifestations of opportunism, dogmatism, conservatism, and maintain the Party's ideological position in the Corps.

Leading and directing the implementation of military, national defense, production and business tasks well, building a comprehensively strong agency and unit that is "exemplary and typical". The training quality, overall quality and combat readiness level (SSCD) of the Corps have been constantly improved. In particular, the Corps has organized training, drills, and developed a SSCD plan associated with building local defense areas; building a strong, reliable, and widespread self-defense force, acting as the core in performing military and national defense tasks at the grassroots level, helping people prevent natural disasters, rescue, and build new rural areas. The Corps has installed 198 alarm bells, 752 security cameras and closely coordinated with local forces to maintain political security and social order and safety.

Every year, Army Corps 15 recruits hundreds of local ethnic minority workers, provides vocational training, creates jobs, and provides stable income for the people.

Business administration and financial management are regularly innovated to suit practical conditions. The projects of the Corps develop stably and sustainably. Focused investment in urgent and dual-use projects and flexible mobilization and regulation of capital sources, ensuring production progress, reducing costs and lowering product prices. Developing economic and technical norms in line with reality, while increasing the recruitment of local ethnic minorities. Logistics and technical work are comprehensively and closely led and implemented. Promoting thrift practice and anti-waste, thereby saving 383.7 billion VND through bidding and saving management costs and production costs compared to the plan. The targets on production value, revenue and profit in the 2020-2025 term all exceeded the set plan, of which revenue reached 140% of the plan, pre-tax profit reached 677%; ensure average income of 7.95 million VND/person/month.

Building potential and position in defense areas

The Corps is stationed and carries out its tasks in 271 villages, mainly in remote, border areas, ethnic minority areas, and religious areas in three provinces: Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, and Quang Tri. At the same time, it carries out its tasks in 12 villages, 4 districts of Attapeu province, Laos, and 8 communes in 3 districts of Ratanakiri province, Cambodia. In order to successfully complete the task of socio-economic development associated with national defense and security, the Corps Party Committee has led and implemented synchronously, drastically, and effectively solutions to build potential and posture in local defense areas. Especially the political and spiritual potential and creating a "people's heart posture", a fighting posture of villages and communes. Coordinate with the Party Committee and the government to arrange production teams interspersed with 271 villages and hamlets, suitable for the concentrated production areas of companies and units, associated with the defensive combat plan. Residential clusters and points were built like fortresses and defense lines, together with local Party committees, authorities and armed forces to form a continuous defense formation on the country's border.

During the past term, the Corps organized 56 classes to foster ethnic knowledge, learn ethnic minority languages, 6,500 propaganda sessions, mobilized nearly 250,000 working days to help people. Supported the construction and repair of 751 houses, worth nearly 54.65 billion VND for workers and people; supported seeds, capital, materials, and means of production to help people worth nearly 38.6 billion VND and created conditions for ethnic minorities to borrow 1,200 hectares of land for rubber replanting to grow rice and crops, increasing income. Helped localities repair and build 127.2km of roads; dredged 43.2km of irrigation canals; supported the Navy to implement the "Greening Truong Sa" program with 100 tons of microbiological fertilizers. Provided free medical examinations, medicine, and gave tens of thousands of gifts to policy families, people, and workers. The total value of implementing mass mobilization and social security work during the term was over 750 billion VND.
