Tay Giang District Party Committee admits 105 new party members in 2024

In 2024, Tay Giang District Party Committee will focus on leading and directing the work of planning, arranging and assigning cadres; well preparing personnel projects, documents and related content to serve the branch congresses, grassroots party committees and the 21st District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030); completing the compilation and publication of the book "History of the People's Armed Forces of Tay Giang District (1945 - 2020)".

Party committees at all levels admitted 105 new party members, reaching 116.67% of the resolution target and 131.25% of the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, bringing the total number of party members in the district to 2,299 party members/47 grassroots party organizations. The rate of party members and grassroots party organizations classified as having completed their tasks well reached 96.84%, reaching 107.6% of the target.

In the economic field, the total output of grain reached more than 5,200 tons, reaching 105.96% of the target. Income from the agricultural sector was about 10-20% higher than the previous year. The locality planted 708 hectares of new medicinal plants and fruit trees. Total budget revenue is estimated at more than 990 billion VND. achieved 198.46% of target.

Regarding new rural construction, an average of 14 criteria/commune is achieved; 10 villages meet the model new rural standards. The poverty rate of the district accounts for 43.16% with 2,468 households, a decrease of 390 poor households compared to 2023. The district has approved funding to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 516 houses , reaching 129% of the assigned target.
