According to the report of the Department of Finance, as of October 19, the total state budget revenue of the province was over 73 trillion VND, reaching 104% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister and 98% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Of which, domestic revenue was over 55.5 trillion VND; revenue from lottery was over 3.1 trillion VND; revenue from import and export was over 17.6 trillion VND. Notably, recently, Dong Nai has collected nearly 6.8 trillion VND from land auctions. Local budget expenditure as of October 19 was over 37.9 trillion VND, reaching 64% of the estimate assigned by the Prime Minister and 56% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

According to the assessment of the Department of Finance, the work of collecting state budget has received timely attention and direction from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, along with the close coordination of departments, branches, unions, and People's Committees of communes and wards, which has helped to handle and remove difficulties and obstacles in the synchronous implementation of solutions on budget collection in the area effectively, basically achieving the set plan.
In recent months, local budget expenditures at all levels have ensured balance of fund resources in budget management and operation.
However, over the past 9 months, the province's public investment disbursement results have only reached 45% of the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister. This result shows that the public investment disbursement has not achieved the set progress.

Evaluating and directing the budget revenue and expenditure for the remaining months of 2025, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc commented: Regarding state budget revenue, to ensure the target of striving to reach 100 trillion VND, in the last months of the year, Dong Nai must achieve at least nearly 26.9 trillion VND. Of which, domestic revenue must reach over 22.3 trillion VND; revenue from export and import strives to reach nearly 4.5 trillion VND...
To achieve the above results, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc assigned the tax, customs, lottery, Provincial Land Fund Development Center... to continue to review, analyze and evaluate revenue sources according to each economic region, each field and administrative area, ensuring no loss of revenue, no omission of revenue sources, especially in areas with large fluctuations in population size and production and business activities. Organize conferences to meet domestic and foreign enterprises, mobilize enterprises with projects in the area but paying taxes in other provinces and cities to participate in paying taxes in Dong Nai. Relevant units take the lead in coordinating with other units to continue promoting the organization of auctions of the remaining 38/41 land plots according to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to ensure the achievement of the set goals.
Regarding local budget expenditures, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to accelerate the disbursement plan for public investment capital: strive to complete the target of disbursing 100% of the public investment capital plan in 2025, identifying this as one of the key political tasks associated with the responsibility of heads of agencies, units, and localities, creating a spillover effect of increasing GRDP by 1-2%. Localities must be more determined in strengthening supervision, inspection, and timely removing difficulties and obstacles in disbursing public investment capital, especially regarding land, site clearance, and contents related to handover and implementation of projects after rearranging the organization of the 2-level local government apparatus...
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the Department of Finance regularly monitors and inspects the implementation of the budget, periodically reports on budget revenue and expenditure, and grasps the fund balance situation to promptly advise on handling problems arising in the process of implementing the budget revenue and expenditure estimates.
