D'ran Commune Party Committee: Focus on leadership, exploiting local potentials and advantages

On July 24, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of D'ran Commune (Lam Dong Province), term 2025 - 2030, took place successfully after 2 days of serious and urgent work.

Attending the Congress were comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and 182 delegates representing all party members of the commune Party Committee.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of D'ran Commune is a particularly important political event, marking the first term after the merger of administrative units. The commune was established on the basis of merging D'ran town and Lac Xuan commune with a total natural area of 240.89 ^km2 , a population of over 33,000 people (over 7,000 ethnic minorities, accounting for about 21%).

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, the socio -economic situation continued to develop stably and had many positive changes; basically completing the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution.

Regarding the development of key products such as vegetable and flower production in the direction of high-tech agriculture with an area of 2,239 hectares, fruit trees and perennial trees of more than 1,900 hectares; implementing the plan to restructure the agricultural economy, the plan to develop comprehensive, sustainable and modern agriculture...

The commune has developed a high-tech agricultural area of 167 hectares and has been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee. Basic agricultural products have been quality controlled, brand promoted; creating conditions for the development of cooperatives and cooperative groups in agriculture... helping to increase the value of agricultural products and increase people's income.

Average income per capita reached 77.8 million VND/person/year, a significant increase compared to the beginning of the term. State budget revenue in the commune was guaranteed, reaching and exceeding the planned target, contributing positively to development investment and ensuring social security... Well implementing the policy of supporting housing construction, supporting the elimination of temporary houses, solidarity houses for poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged households in the area. The multidimensional poverty rate by 2025 will decrease to 0.3%, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Party building and political system work: The Party Committee of the commune always pays attention to promoting propaganda work, innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of Party building work in terms of political ideology and ethics; well organizing classes to study and thoroughly grasp the Party's documents and policies.

At the Congress, delegates voted to approve the goals, targets and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. In the discussion section, the Congress contributed opinions to the draft documents submitted to the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, highly appreciated the preparation and organization of the Congress of D'ran commune, as well as the results that the commune achieved in the past term.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Party Committee of D'ran commune quickly stabilize, develop and promulgate a program to implement the Congress Resolution, assign tasks "clearly to people, clear to work", focus on leadership, exploit the potentials and advantages of the locality; promote the development of industries, production and business establishments, and services to solve employment, promote economic restructuring and labor structure in the commune.
