Evaluation of performance of cooperatives according to the Law on Cooperatives 2023

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches and more than 100 delegates representing cooperatives in the districts of Hoang Hoa, Dong Son, Trieu Son, Vinh Loc, Ngoc Lac, Lang Chanh, Quan Hoa and Muong Lat.

Conference overview.

Inspection and supervision team No. 1 conducted inspections and supervision of the actual operations of 50 cooperatives in the 8 districts mentioned above. The results showed that most cooperatives have actively paid attention to, developed more members, mobilized capital contributions, invested in purchasing machinery and equipment for production and business. Many cooperatives have successfully developed high-tech agricultural production, developed sustainable linkage chains; expanded the scale and fields of production and business effectively... However, some cooperatives still face difficulties in implementing regulations on members joining cooperatives; organizing the operating apparatus; developing charters, production plans, setting up funds and distributing income to members; no cooperative has organized amendments and supplements to its operating charter to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Law on Cooperatives 2023.

Representatives of cooperatives participate in discussions and dialogues on policies to support cooperative development.

At the conference, delegates discussed to find out the causes, problems, and limitations hindering the development of collective economy and cooperatives in the region.

Also within the framework of the conference, representatives of the Provincial Cooperative Union, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial Tax Department also had a dialogue and answered questions from cooperatives about policies to support and develop the collective economy and cooperatives in the province.
