Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan presented the investment approval decision to WHA Group - Thailand

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra witnessed the handover of the decision approving the project investment policy between Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan and leaders of WHA Group - Thailand.

At the ceremony, on behalf of Thanh Hoa province, comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the Decision approving the investment policy for the project of construction and business of industrial park infrastructure in Thieu Hoa district to WHA Group - Thailand.

The WHA Smart Technology 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Project - Thanh Hoa in Thieu Hoa district is invested by WHA Group (Thailand); with a total land use area of ​​nearly 175 hectares, located in the communes of Thieu Giang, Thieu Quang, Thieu Thinh and Thieu Hop, Thieu Hoa district. The total investment of the project is 1,450 billion VND (equivalent to about 58 million USD). The project has an operating period of 50 years from the date of issuance of the land allocation or land lease decision, with the construction progress and infrastructure completion not exceeding 36 months.

WHA Smart Technology 2 Industrial Park is expected to create a modern and synchronous investment environment, attracting high-tech projects and supporting industries with high added value; thereby, contributing to improving the competitiveness of the industrial park system in the province and the North Central region, while promoting the process of economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernization.

Also at the ceremony to hand over cooperation documents between Vietnam and Thailand, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra witnessed representatives of ministries, branches and localities of the two countries hand over a number of important documents in the fields of security, economy, trade andeducation , creating a premise for the concretization of cooperation contents between the two countries, Vietnam - Thailand, in the coming time.
