The Politburo appointed the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term consisting of 7 people and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consisting of 29 people.

On the morning of October 14, at the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, the Politburo announced the decisions to appoint the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, consisting of 7 people.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - on behalf of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decisions.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided to appoint Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - as Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

In addition, the Politburo appointed five Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee, including: Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Mr. Dang Minh Thong and Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet.

At the congress, the Politburo also decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Thus, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term will have 7 people and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will have 29 people.
