According to information from Dr. Le Anh Tuan's family, Le Dieu My was accepted by 3 universities in the US. Notably, the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University - Top 5 leading universities in the US - awarded a full scholarship. The 24-year-old girl received the Pierre-André Salim scholarship to study for a Master of Theatre Arts program specializing in Management.

In addition, Le Dieu My also passed Columbia University (Top 13 universities in the US), Brooklyn College (ranked 15th in the top public schools) Master's program in Stage Design and Production.

While still in high school in Vietnam, Le Dieu My excelled in many different roles such as actress, screenwriter, director and art director. She was in the Top 13 Asian debaters at the AEO (Asian English Olympics) competition in Indonesia in 2017; Champion of the 2nd Innompic Games competition in Malaysia in 2018. In 2019, Le Dieu My attracted attention when she won 8 scholarships in the US.

In 2021, during the Covid-19 period, Le Dieu My returned to Vietnam to work for 1 year and became assistant general director of the musical Les Miserables for People's Artist Tran Ly Ly.

During her time studying in the US, Dieu My worked with many prestigious theaters in New York. In 2023, she was one of the 6 directors of the 15th Women's Work Short Play festival at New Perspective Theatre Company and was invited to be a member of the selection committee for the 16th Women's Work Short Play festival.

During this time, Le Dieu My became an assistant director for the musical Life on the Third Rail which toured around New York City. At the end of 2023, Le Dieu My worked as a production assistant for Big Trip by famous Russian director Dimitri Krymov at La MaMa Theater.

In early 2024, Le Dieu My was accepted as a stage technical intern at the Theater Lab, a theater specializing in experimental theater, designing 6 programs during a 4-month internship and was invited to stay and work.

In the summer of 2024, Le Dieu My received a BA in Drama and a certificate in Arts Management and Leadership from Hunter College (New York, USA). She also received the Tyrone Guthrie Award for Best Director of the Class of 2024.

After graduating from Hunter College with a BA in Drama and a certificate in Arts Management and Leadership, and receiving the Tyrone Guthrie Award for Outstanding Director of the Class of 2024, Le directed the sold-out play The Collapse of The Hubbard Glacier at Frigid NYC and was nominated for the 2024 Off-Broadway Award for Outstanding Director by Broadway World.

One of the projects Dieu My is working on is the play The Six Paths, which connects the themes of Buddhist meaning, cultural identity, and human experience through field research in Vietnam. The Six Paths was inspired by the Six Paths in the short story collection Crazy Mother , which Dieu My happened to read as a child.

Inspired by Vietnamese culture, Le Dieu My seeks to integrate traditional dance, religious rituals, and visual arts into the play, creating a unified theatrical world . Through this combination, Le Dieu My seeks to honor her Vietnamese roots and her lessons and experiences in America.

The play Six Realms of Reincarnation, written and directed by Le Dieu My, premiered at Theater for the New City in late February 2025 and will have its final performance at the Hudson Guild Theater as part of the New York Theater Festival in late May.

MC Thao Van shed tears when her son went on stage to give her flowers before singing. MC Thao Van shared: "Today my son came to cheer for me, it was really touching... He heard me sing and shed tears, saying that I sang so emotionally. I have truly returned to my youth."
