World- famous travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler has just honored Phu Quoc in the top most beautiful islands in Asia voted by global readers.

Ranked 8th on the list, Phu Quoc is one of the most beautiful islands in Asia with 88.89 points voted by readers.

This is the second consecutive year that Phu Quoc has been voted by Condé Nast Traveler readers as one of the most beautiful islands in Asia. In 2022, Vietnam's pearl island ranked 6th on the list.

Besides Phu Quoc, the list of 10 best islands in Asia 2023 also includes Boracay, Siargao and Palawan (Philippines); Koh Samui and Phuket (Thailand); Langkawi (Malaysia); Sri Lanka; Okinawa and Ryuku Islands (Japan). Indonesia's Bali Island leads with 91.08 points.

Phu Quoc Island is known as a resort paradise, one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.

Phu Quoc's recognition on the world tourism map is rapidly increasing. From a little-known island, the beauty of Phu Quoc has quickly been recognized by the international community when it continuously surpassed famous destinations to enter a series of lists of the world's top attractive destinations.

In November 2022, surpassing 6 world-famous islands, Phu Quoc was honored by World Travel Award as "The island with the most attractive nature in the world."

Phu Quoc is also the only representative of Vietnam on the list of 25 best islands in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine.

It is no coincidence that Phu Quoc has become a “rising star.” It can be said that the wild and poetic natural beauty is the key to creating the first attraction for Phu Quoc.

Phu Quoc's nature is characterized by rolling hills and mountains with 28 large and small islands, 150km of coastline, 14 diverse beaches with many beaches honored as the most beautiful in the world. This place also has a temperate climate, warm sunshine all year round, very ideal for travel and relaxation at any time of the year.

Coming to Phu Quoc, tourists can explore many attractive destinations with unique natural beauty such as Rach Vem beach, Dai beach, Phu Quoc national park, Ham Ninh fishing village and many small islands such as Hon Thom, Hon Dam, Hon Mong Tay, Hon May Rut...

In particular, the nature in the South of the island has a unique beauty with creamy white sand beaches, clear blue sea water and Hon Thom island cluster with the largest coral conservation area in Phu Quoc, up to 9,720 hectares.

There are many beautiful beaches famous in the world, such as Bai Kem ranked in the top 50 most beautiful beaches on the planet by Flight Network - Canada's largest travel network; or Bai Sao voted by readers of Condé Nast Traveler (CN Traveler) as one of the 10 most pristine and quiet beaches in the world, along with famous beaches in Fiji, Maldives, and Australia.

This island is emerging as a destination for unique tourist attractions that are rarely found anywhere else in the world.

Those iconic works of Phu Quoc include Hon Thom cable car - the world's longest 3-wire cable car system, taking visitors from the center of An Thoi town to Hon Thom island.

Sunset Town has a strong Mediterranean color but is unique in the world, different from the original with smaller windows to reduce sunlight, a slightly steeper roof to drain rainwater, and a cool green garden.

The focal point of Sunset Town is the Kiss Bridge - a bridge on the sea as beautiful as a sculpture, with two branches, each 400m long, like two soft silk strips stretching out to sea.

The two branches of the bridge are about 30cm apart, and that small boundary is the most beautiful place to "welcome" the sunset around Christmas and New Year.

In addition to its unique architecture, this beautiful bridge also carries a message of love and connection between people and people, people and the universe.

Talking about Sunset Town, the travel section of Australia's leading newspaper - The Sydney Morning Herald gave special praise, saying that this town brings tourists back to Italy.

The factors that make Phu Quoc a particularly popular destination in the world lie not only in its beautiful nature, high-class infrastructure with many unique projects, professional entertainment services, but also in its luxurious resort experience.

To become a global tourist destination, Phu Quoc's tourism infrastructure has been changing, with synchronous tourism ecosystems, from entertainment, resorts to real estate associated with high-end resort tourism, especially in the south of the island.

In the first 9 months of 2023, Phu Quoc city welcomed more than 4.7 million visitors for sightseeing, tourism and relaxation, accounting for 64.2% of the total number of tourists to Kien Giang, an increase of 15.5% over the same period in 2022; of which, international visitors were 470,538, an increase of 275.9% (nearly 3 times).

Phu Quoc's total tourism revenue reached over VND12,225 billion, accounting for more than 84% of the province's total tourism-service revenue, up 117.7%./.
