In mid -March 2025, Lite-on Technology Group started construction of Lite-On Vietnam Quang Ninh Factory - Phase 1 at Song Khoai Industrial Park. The factory is built on an area of 30 hectares with a total investment of 690 million USD. The project has a scale of 2 factories and 1 office building. This is a factory specializing in the production of electronic components for computers, cameras, wireless network connection devices, power converters, electric vehicle chargers, lights. automobiles, plastic products, and many other electronic devices. The factory has a total capacity of nearly 124 million products/year. Phase 1 is expected to be completed in November 2025, with a capacity of over 64 million products/year. In 2028, the factory will complete investment in phase 2 production operations, bringing the capacity to over 95 million products/year. By 2030, the Group will complete the entire project with a total capacity of nearly 124 million products/year. Lite On Vietnam is one of the potential partners of famous brands such as Fuji Xerox, Kyocera, ASUS, Amazon, IBM, Motorola, Sony, Samsung, Shap, Nokia, Lenovo... To ensure production activities, the factory's labor recruitment needs are nearly 2,000 people.

Ms. Vu Thi Thanh, Recruitment Specialist of Lite On Vietnam Co., Ltd., said: Currently, the Company is actively recruiting workers including: Production workers, engineers, technicians... to prepare for the factory expected to be put into operation at the end of this year. To attract workers, in addition to the prescribed regimes, the Company has many attractive remuneration policies for workers such as: Support for shuttle buses, paying attractive salaries for skilled workers, organizing regular training programs for workers...

According to a survey by the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, in 2025 alone, the labor recruitment demand of enterprises in industrial parks in the province will be about 23,600 workers, of which about 1,500 are university graduates, about 1,400 are college graduates, about 1,400 are intermediate and elementary graduates, and about 19,300 are unskilled workers.

To meet the labor needs of businesses, the province has issued many mechanisms, policies and support for vocational training. A typical example is Resolution No. 310/2020/NQ-HDND on vocational training support policies in the list of training incentives and tuition support for secondary school graduates to continue to intermediate and college levels in the province in the period of 2021-2025. Vocational training institutions provide training in a variety of occupations; focusing on closely linking research, training and the needs of the labor market.

In addition, the Provincial Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs) maintains periodic job fairs with online connections inside and outside the province. At the same time, it promotes connections with other provinces to attract workers from other provinces to Quang Ninh.

In particular, at the end of May, the Economic Zone Management Board, the Department of Education and Training, the Vietnam Student Association of Quang Ninh Province, and Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company jointly organized the 2025 Job Fair at Song Khoai Industrial Park. The fair attracted nearly 1,000 students and workers. At the fair, students and workers visited, learned about, and interviewed for jobs at business booths. Recruiting businesses and consultants shared necessary skills for students and workers today, and job trends in industrial parks, thereby providing useful information for candidates interested in job opportunities and future career development, connecting candidates with employers. This is where businesses introduce recruitment needs, working conditions, income levels, and benefits to employees. It is also an opportunity for them to promote their image and brand, and search for talent and workers suitable for their sustainable development.
