SJC denies false rumors about the quality of gold bars

Regarding the case involving 6,255 taels of illegally produced gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC), the company affirms that the information circulating online about the quality of SJC gold bars recently is completely false.

"This information is inaccurate. All products manufactured and processed by SJC Company are guaranteed to be of high quality," an SJC representative emphasized.

According to SJC Company, the state-owned entity tasked with producing gold bars, SJC applies the ISO 9001:2015 quality management process. Raw materials undergo rigorous inspection; each gold bar weighs precisely 37.5 grams before being shaped; the quality control department checks quality, assigns serial numbers, and verifies gold content using advanced technology before shipment.

All products circulating in the market meet the stated quality standards and do not have discrepancies in content as recently reported, causing widespread concern.

“The multi-tiered control mechanism helps prevent substandard products from entering the market. The 6,255 taels of gold still meet the standards for legal circulation. SJC is responsible for ensuring the quality of gold bars produced at its factory, as well as the legitimate rights of customers,” affirmed SJC Acting General Director Dao Cong Thang.
