The event aims to call for attention, investment and specific actions from all levels, sectors and the whole society, towards a safe, healthy and comprehensive living environment for Vietnamese children.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan spoke at the event.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan emphasized the importance of mobilizing synchronous and sustainable resources to ensure the right to protection, care and development for children.

She affirmed that resources need to be understood in a broad sense, including not only finance but also human resources, infrastructure, equipment, information technology and especially close coordination between ministries, branches, localities and social organizations.

According to the Minister, success in implementing goals for children can only be achieved when the entire political system and society work together and act practically and effectively.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee received funding from businesses and social organizations to support children in special circumstances nationwide.

At the event, 100 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, along with many meaningful gifts were awarded to disadvantaged children in Phu Tho province. This is a practical action, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and community responsibility towards the future generations of the country.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, Minister Dao Hong Lan and leaders of ministries, branches and Phu Tho province participated in a series of meaningful activities for children such as: visiting the area for free health check-ups and psychological counseling for students; giving gifts to pediatric patients at Phu Tho Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; meeting and giving gifts to children at Phu Tho SOS Children's Village.

These activities not only bring joy and encouragement to children but also contribute to spreading the message of love, care and accompanying children on their journey to adulthood.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Huy Ngoc, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the Month of Action for Children is not only an annual activity but also a strong reminder of the responsibility of each individual, each family and the whole society in building a safe and humane living environment for children. According to him, good living conditions, love and care are the greatest gifts that adults can give to the "precious seeds" of the country.

The Month of Action for Children is held annually in June and is an opportunity for the whole society to come together to promote the movement of caring for, educating and protecting children.

This is also an opportunity to promote and effectively implement policies and programs for children, while mobilizing resources to build projects and activities that bring practical benefits to children across the country.

With the theme of 2025, “Prioritizing resources to achieve goals for children”, this year’s Action Month sets out a clear message: Put children at the center of all development policies and social actions, so that every Vietnamese child has the opportunity to grow up in the best conditions and become healthy, happy citizens, contributing positively to the country’s future.
