Over 631 billion VND invested in Cargo Terminal at Da Nang International Airport

The Cargo Terminal Project at Da Nang International Airport is built on an expected land area of ​​more than 24,618 m2, with a total investment of more than 631 billion VND.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just approved the investment policy to adjust the Project to build a Cargo Terminal at Da Nang International Airport.

Accordingly, the project to build a cargo terminal at Da Nang International Airport is invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation - Joint Stock Company (ACV), with an expected land area of ​​24,618.2 m2.

Of which, land for construction of Cargo Terminal is 14,206.4 m2; land for construction of cargo yard and parking lot is 10,411.8 m2. Total investment capital of Cargo Terminal Construction Project is 631,288,461,000 VND.

The main objective of this Project is to achieve the cargo terminal capacity target according to the approved plan (expected by 2030) with cargo output reaching about 100,000 tons/year.

Regarding the progress of basic construction and putting the project into operation, it is expected that in the second quarter of 2025, investment preparation work and local planning adjustment of the construction land will be completed; from the second quarter of 2025 to the fourth quarter of 2026, basic construction will be implemented and the project will be put into operation, operating at a capacity of 50,000 tons/year; from the third quarter of 2028 to the first quarter of 2029, additional investment will be made in equipment and the project will be put into operation, operating at a capacity of 100,000 tons/year.
