Investing more than 597.2 billion VND to build social housing for trade unions in Quang Ngai

QNgTV- The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has just issued a decision approving the trade union social housing project to be built in Tinh Phong Industrial Park, Tho Phong Commune, Quang Ngai Province, with an investment capital of more than 597 billion VND. The project is invested by the Trade Union Project Management Board, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with the implementation schedule from 2025-2028.

The trade union social housing project is built in Tho Phong commune, where VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park and Tinh Phong Industrial Park are located, attracting tens of thousands of workers.

The project scale includes the construction of two 9-storey apartment buildings and one 12-storey apartment building, auxiliary works, gardens, internal traffic, outdoor parking lots and other technical infrastructure items, with a total of 603 apartments, serving the residential needs of more than 1,800 people.

Specifically, two 9-storey apartment buildings are built on an area of ​​4,220m2, with a total floor area of ​​nearly 28,000m2. The 12-storey apartment building is built on an area of ​​1,722m2, with a total floor area of ​​more than 18,200m2.

Quang Ngai Province Department of Construction is closely coordinating and supporting the investor to organize the project groundbreaking in mid-December.

It is known that according to the project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the 2021-2030 period", the Prime Minister assigned the target to Quang Ngai province to complete 8,500 apartments by 2030.
