Recently, the Robinson Nature Resort project is said to be behind schedule due to many reasons, including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and changes in the scale of the project. In order for the project to be put into operation soon, it is necessary to have the support of all levels of government as well as more active participation from the investor.

The landscape on Sung Island, Tien Phong Commune (Da Bac) is gradually being invested in quality.
Located on Sung Island on Hoa Binh Lake in Tien Phong Commune, Da Bac District, the Robinson 5-star natural tourism project is a special highlight for the development of eco-tourism and resorts in the region.
From Thung Nai port, Thung Nai commune (Cao Phong), it takes more than 10 minutes by boat to reach Robinson natural tourist area project. The road to the tourist area is quite wide, with colorful bougainvillea and bamboo rows on both sides. On the island, villas are gradually being completed, interspersed with the green of the mountains and forests are bamboo domes in the center of the island.
According to Mr. Vu Duy Bong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Binh Tourism Joint Stock Company, Sung Island has a total area of 133 hectares, of which 50 hectares are planned to develop Robinson natural tourism area and 83 hectares are the area requested for sustainable development conservation. The western area is designed with many bungalow-style houses made of bamboo, bamboo, wood, and thatched roofs. The service house includes a comprehensive service house serving guests in the western area and Robinson valley. The northern area has a modern design and is being invested with 37 high-class eco-villas, a 60-room hotel and a culinary area, entertainment, sports , health care, service house, including comprehensive services such as: laundry, refreshments, indoor entertainment... made of materials such as stone, bamboo, wood, thatched roof combined with glass.
Initially, the tourist area planned to invest a total capital of more than 250 billion VND, however, recently, Hoa Binh Tourism Joint Stock Company has cooperated with Banyan Tree Group, specializing in developing and managing the world's leading hotels and resorts, to invest and operate the Robinson project. Accordingly, the project has invested in upgrading items from the shuttle boat on Hoa Binh Lake, the landscape and other infrastructures to all 5-star quality. Ensuring that domestic and foreign tourists are satisfied with the quality of service as soon as they set foot on the boat to the island.
Up to now, the Robinson project has invested over 200 billion VND in some main items of the project, of which 32 semi-detached villas have completed the rough construction. From now until the end of the year, the interior of these villas will continue to be completed. Regarding the landscape, in 2023, Hoa Binh Tourism Joint Stock Company has invested in completing the synchronous landscape system according to the advice of foreign partners. It is expected that by the end of 2025 at the latest, the Robinson project will put into operation about 40 semi-detached villas with 80 rooms and 40 separate bedrooms. In particular, Banyan Tree Group has signed a contract to bring foreign guests to the project.
However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the adjustment of the investment policy approved by the province, the project's progress has been forced to be extended. According to Mr. Vu Duy Bong, previously, the Robinson project was approved for 10 hectares, and now an additional 9 hectares have been added. He hopes that the provincial leaders and agencies, departments, branches and localities will approve the expansion and improvement of the project's quality. In addition, there needs to be a plan and a plan for waste treatment and transportation in the area to ensure environmental sanitation. The marinas and ports in the Hoa Binh Lake area of Da Bac district need to be put into operation soon, not only to create conditions for the Robinson project but also to facilitate the resort tourism projects operating in the Hoa Binh Lake area.
