According to the Department of Transport of Can Tho City, this issue will affect public opinion, although in fact Thanh Buoi Company Limited has had its automobile transport business license revoked indefinitely by the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City. The Department of Transport has not yet issued a license to Thanh Buoi Company Limited.

“The Department of Transport of Can Tho City requests the Department of Information and Communications of the City and the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention of the City Police to support in handling and promptly preventing information posted on the internet environment that is not in accordance with the provisions of the law. This is to avoid misunderstandings about Thanh Buoi passenger car resuming operation in violation of regulations even though its license to operate automobile transport has been revoked indefinitely,” the document of the Department of Transport of Can Tho City stated.

Previously, the Department of Transport Inspectorate had drawn up a record and administratively fined Thanh Buoi Company Limited with a total fine of VND 91 million and applied an additional penalty of revoking the right to use the car transport business license for a period of 3 months, from November 3, 2023 to February 3, 2024.

In addition, the Department of Transport also issued a decision to revoke the car transport business license indefinitely for Thanh Buoi Company Limited, due to violations according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 6, Article 19 of Decree No. 10/2020, for providing a copy that is not true to the original or providing incorrect information in the application for a business license.
