Hanoi aims for circular agriculture .

Plan No. 358 aims to implement the tasks and solutions of the Project on science development and technology transfer application to promote circular economy in agriculture by 2030, issued together with Decision No. 540/QD-TTg dated June 19, 2024 of the Prime Minister, in accordance with the practical situation of Hanoi City.

Through the implementation of the Project, Hanoi's existing potentials and advantages will be promoted to develop circular economy in agriculture (or circular agriculture); promote scientific development and application, technology transfer to promote circular economy in agriculture in the city, towards developing green and sustainable agriculture...

Hanoi strives that by 2030, at least 20% of scientific and technological tasks in the agricultural sector will be researched, applied and transferred to serve the development of a circular economy in agriculture. Gradually form and participate in the consumer market for circular agricultural products.

To achieve the above goal, Hanoi has proposed 5 groups of tasks and solutions. The top priority is to strengthen research, development and application of science and technology, technical advances, and advanced production processes to serve circular agriculture.

Next is to promote technology transfer to develop circular agriculture. Develop output markets for circular agricultural products. Cooperate in the field of circular agricultural development. Communicate to raise awareness and capacity to develop circular economy in agriculture.
