Can Tho University has just announced enrollment information for the 2025-2026 school year in Soc Trang for the following majors: Tourism; Accounting; Law; Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
When admitted to these admission codes, students are arranged to study in Soc Trang area, except for the 4th year studying in Can Tho city.
Registration period starts from July 16 to July 28, 2025. Soc Trang Campus is a training facility of Can Tho University, located at 400, Le Hong Phong, Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City. Students studying at Soc Trang Campus are full-time university students of Can Tho University.
The training program, lecturers, learning conditions, tuition fees and degrees are exactly the same as those of students studying in Can Tho. Previously, on May 5, the Minister of Education and Training issued Decision No. 1202/QD-BGDDT on the establishment of Can Tho University Branch in Soc Trang Province (now Can Tho City).
The decision also requires Can Tho University to be responsible for reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training on the conditions for ensuring educational quality to allow Can Tho University Branch in Soc Trang province to carry out training activities in accordance with the provisions of law.
Previously, on October 10, 2024, the People's Committee of Soc Trang province (old) organized the handover of housing and land facilities to Can Tho University to establish a branch. On November 24, 2024, Can Tho University organized the opening ceremony of human resource training courses in Soc Trang province and received the land use right certificate at Can Tho University Soc Trang Branch.
According to the plan, when it comes into operation, the branch in Soc Trang province (old) will train Masters in 3 majors, majoring in Information Technology; Crop Science, majoring in Smart Agricultural Engineering; Agricultural Systems, majoring in Climate Change and Sustainable Tropical Agriculture.
In addition, the school organizes training courses on aquaculture; training courses for managers and English teachers on “Application of information technology in teaching English”; training courses on “Climate skills”. At the same time, the school also provides postgraduate training in the fields of Information Technology, Economic Management, Educational Management and other fields according to local needs.
In addition, there are training courses, certificate training, and training for many fields such as: Information Technology, Pedagogy, Foreign Languages... From 2025, the school will provide undergraduate training in the following majors: Accounting, Economic Law, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, English Language, Majors according to local needs; Postgraduate training in the following majors: Information Technology, Economic Management, Educational Management, Majors according to local needs...
