On March 15, Nghia Trung Secondary School (Tu Nghia district, Quang Ngai ) reported an incident of students fighting during recess.

Previously, on March 14, a clip went viral on social media recording a scene of an 8th grade male student grabbing the collar and repeatedly hitting a 7th grade student in the head in the school hallway.

Mr. Truong Thuan Hung, Principal of Nghia Trung Secondary School, said that the initial cause was determined to be a conflict between students.

At around 9:30 a.m. on March 14, during recess, NTP (class 8C) beat VVN (class 7D) because N. had gone swimming with a female friend from PGH (class 7D) - the person P. had "noticed".

After P. beat N., an 8th grade student who was present saw that the 7th grader standing there looking at him unfriendly, so he also beat him.

On the afternoon of March 14, the school invited all parents, students involved and homeroom teachers to the meeting. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Nghia Trung Commune Police.

Here, the parents whose children beat their friends apologized to the families and students who were beaten and took them for health check-ups, while also pledging not to let their children repeat the offense.

The parents of the beaten children also apologized, hoping that parents and schools would cooperate ineducating the children to prevent fighting from happening in schools.

The school seriously admitted its shortcomings and learned from experience in managing and educating students; at the same time, it will handle the two students who beat their friend according to school regulations and school charter.
