Male rapper arrested for pointing gun at girlfriend

Rapper Shy Glizzy in legal trouble

Shy Glizzy argued with his girlfriend on the street in West Hollywood, California, USA on the morning of May 13 (local time). The allegations said that after the argument gradually became more intense, the rapper pulled a gun on his girlfriend and made threats. The police later intervened in the incident.

By the afternoon of May 13, Shy Glizzy was arrested for allegedly threatening to harm his girlfriend. He was released on $50,000 bail after 4 hours in custody.

A police source said no gun was found on Shy Glizzy and the rapper denied the accusations of threatening his girlfriend. The rapper's representative has not commented on the incident.

Shy Glizzy's real name is Marquis Amonte King, 30 years old. He became famous with his debut studio album "Full Loaded" in 2018, ranked 35th on the Billboard 200.

In 2023, he released his second studio album, "Flowers". Shy Glizzy's latest single is "Fools Fall N Love" featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
