Review of the content of Towards Fire episode 1

Episode 1 of "Towards the Fire" opens with a scene of a large fire, where many people are trapped and the fire brigade is assigned to rescue people and put out the fire. In it, two young members of the team, Long and Quang, make mistakes in their first real-life battle and are summoned by the captain for a lesson. Long is reprimanded for arguing with people while on duty, while Quang is scolded for not concentrating and dropping his walkie-talkie. The captain warns that their lack of concentration could put their teammates in danger.

Wanting to help his seniors wash their protective clothing, Long accidentally made everyone uncomfortable because he didn't know that the team members intentionally didn't wash their clothes for taboo reasons. Thang explained: "It's like a coincidence, every time I wash my clothes..." then the alarm rang, signaling the rescue of a group of young people trapped in the conservation area in the middle of the water.

The character Ha - the only female member of the team - lives with her mother, who is always worried because her daughter works in a dangerous profession. Ha's mother confided in tears: "I only have one daughter, I thought giving birth to her would bring her a comfortable life, but who would have thought she would follow her father's difficult and dangerous profession." She hoped to match Ha with a man with a stable job, but Ha objected. However, she was determined to force her daughter to meet the man, even pretending to cry to convince him.

Duc Anh, after completing the rescue mission, returned home. His mother was concerned, but his father was indifferent, not asking questions but going to the garden to water the plants. It seemed that there was a conflict between father and son. Duc Anh's father was a pianist who was about to perform, but Duc Anh did not want to go to see, making him unhappy. Ha revealed that Duc Anh was obsessed with the sound of the piano because he had been present at a big fire, making him uncomfortable with this type of music. For that reason, Ha also forbade new soldiers from playing piano music within 5 meters of Duc Anh's presence.

Thang, another member of the team, has a happy family with a wife and daughter, and his wife is about to give birth to their second child. Although she knows her husband's job is dangerous, Thang's wife has always supported him. He has prepared the paperwork to transfer his job but is still hesitant. Previously, he was absent when his wife gave birth to their first child, so this time he asked for leave to be with his wife. However, as soon as he arrived at the office gate, the alarm rang. In the end, his sense of responsibility made him return to his teammates, once again missing the moment his second child was born.

“Walking towards the fire” tells the story of Hong’s journey to find justice for his family – an unfortunate child who lost both his parents and his only relative, his younger brother. After the great incident, Hong became a homeless child and was taken home by Mrs. Moc – the second wife of Le Toan, a mafia boss who has now washed his hands of the sword. Hong was trusted by Mr. Toan and chosen to run the Le family’s business.

As he investigates the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects that Mr. Toan is involved with three dangerous drug lords. Hong is caught in a battle between gratitude and skepticism, between good and evil, as he continues to search for the truth.

While Hong was following the bosses, he did not know that all his actions as well as those of the criminal group were under the police's surveillance. Lieutenant Colonel Long - Head of the Drug Investigation Department was transferred from the province to work as deputy to Phung - Head of the District Police; at the same time, he was also Long's long-time friend.

Long realizes that Hong is an important factor in the investigation and decides to use Hong as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long gets closer to the "bosses" and the location of the secret drug bunker. As they delve deeper into their target, Long and Hong realize that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial benefits is a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude", "familiarity" turned into "hostility" between people who considered each other brothers, comrades on the same front...

The film focuses on Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the plots of those who spread "white death" to society for money. The film helps viewers better understand the police force - those who silently sacrifice themselves, risk their lives to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
