COVID-19 epidemic today: Number of infections decreased to 7 cases

Regarding the COVID-19 epidemic situation today , the Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 p.m. on March 25 to 4:00 p.m. on March 26, the whole country recorded 7 cases, a decrease compared to the previous day.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,527,210 infections, ranking 13th out of 230 countries and territories.

No new patients recovered during the day. The total number of cured cases is 10,614,899. The number of patients on oxygen is 1.

The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,186, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

Total deaths ranked 26th out of 230 territories, deaths per 1 million people ranked 139th out of 230 countries and territories in the world . Compared to Asia, total deaths ranked 7th out of 49 (ranked 3rd in ASEAN), deaths per 1 million people ranked 21st out of 49 countries and territories in Asia (ranked 3rd in ASEAN).

On March 25, 2,030 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of doses administered is 265,946,285. The Ministry of Health is continuing to promote COVID-19 vaccination, especially for high-risk cases, children aged 5 - under 12 years old.
