[Video] Vietnam strives to master the technology to produce 15 types of vaccines by 2030

NDO - The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1018/QD-TTg amending and supplementing Decision No. 1286/QD-TTg (dated October 25, 2022) on the Program to ensure vaccine supply for vaccination until 2030.

Accordingly, by 2030, Vietnam will master the technology to produce 15 types of vaccines, ensuring that domestically produced vaccines meet international standards.

The Government assigned the Ministry of Health to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to urgently develop a project to produce vaccines to prevent diseases.

The revised target reflects a long-term, sustainable orientation to strengthen domestic vaccine capacity, reduce import dependence, better serve expanded immunization work and respond to future epidemics.
