The benchmark score increased because the number of candidates applying to the school increased, especially many candidates who won international prizes registered their first choice to the school.
In 2024, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 18.5 to 28.5. Of which, the Computer Science advanced program has the highest benchmark score of 28.5 points. The second is Artificial Intelligence with 27.7 points, followed by Data Science with 26.85 points.
In 2025, the University of Natural Sciences will enroll students in 3 ways: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City National University; combining international language certificates with academic records; Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Considering the scores of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University. There have been 360 candidates admitted to the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City through direct admission and priority admission.
The school will announce the benchmark scores on August 23.
