Avdeevka hotspot, Russia uses 500kg bomb to suppress Ukraine

North of Avdeevka, the tactical groups of the 114th Brigade (Russia) achieved significant successes in the offensive operation on the northern flank. According to the latest data provided by the AVP on November 23, the attack by the units of the 114th Brigade repelled the forces of the 47th Mechanized Brigade, squads and platoons of the 116th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

AVP also reported that reconnaissance units of the 114th Brigade have reached the western outskirts of Petrovskoye and are advancing towards Berdych. Meanwhile, motorized rifle units are successfully establishing a foothold in the central areas of the village.

These actions are part of the Russian forces' strategy to consolidate its position in the region and advance towards important strategic points.

On November 23, the AVP website also reported on violent explosions in Krivoy Rog and the Nikolaev region of Ukraine.

In Krivoy Rog, the Ukrainian air force had earlier reported a possible Russian missile attack on the city. Then, at night, explosions occurred.

Another explosion was also reported in the Voznesensky district of the Nikolaev region, Russian missiles were seen before the explosion.

However, to date, the cause of the explosions has not been officially announced. Detailed information about casualties and material damage has not been released.
