Horasis China Forum 2024 opens up many opportunities for businesses in Binh Duong province

Immediately after the opening ceremony of the Horasis China Forum 2024 in Binh Duong , Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha received Mr. Xiong Meng, Vice President and General Secretary of the China Federation of Industrial Economics and major Chinese corporations.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Chinese enterprises to continue participating in renewable energy projects and hoped that these projects would become models of effective and quality cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will support and create all favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to invest and do business effectively, successfully and sustainably in Vietnam in general, and in Binh Duong province in particular, including investors from China.

Mr. Xiong Meng, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE), said that in recent years, bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries has been very strong, achieving many good results.

According to Mr. Xiong Meng, in the field of trade, China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for many years. Vietnam is also China's largest trading partner in ASEAN and the 4th largest trading partner in the world. Bilateral trade turnover has exceeded 200 billion USD for 3 consecutive years.

Also on April 15, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and leaders of Binh Duong province met and worked with a number of German corporations and business delegations from Europe.

The Deputy Prime Minister shared that Vietnam always supports the strategy of cooperation in green economic transformation, circular economy, digital transformation and green energy, etc., thereby finding opportunities for cooperation and promoting development in these fields.

Mr. Urs Unkauf, CEO of the German Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for taking the time to meet him. At the same time, he highly appreciated the increasingly favorable investment and business environment in Vietnam and expressed his wish to expand investment and business in Vietnam, including Binh Duong, in the future.

Also on this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province awarded 9 Decisions approving investment policies and 8 Investment Registration Certificates to a number of typical projects in the province; awarded investment policies to the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project; the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway project.
