The stage names of Vietnamese singers can easily make audiences mistake them for foreign singers. Their music may not follow trends but emphasize individuality and uniqueness.
Not only do they compose, some of them also participate in the production process, either partially or completely. That is the identifying mark of the new generation of singers in Vietnamese music.
Full of youthful energy
Gen Z singer Kim Kunni admitted that "my music is difficult to reach Vietnamese audiences" but it cannot be denied that this Gen Z singer is highly appreciated by experts. On August 25, Kim Kunni released the MV (music video ) "Lovely boy" which created an effect due to the creative thinking in the product. The MV "Lovely boy" received the love of many audiences as soon as it was released.

According to Kim Kunni, the melody "Lovely boy" was made in at least 10 versions. She is the first Vietnamese female artist to join the entertainment company, international record label Sony Music Entertainment. Kim Kunni is oriented to develop professionally and approach world music trends. With the strength of foreign languages and modern musical thinking, having her own style and professional support at all stages, Kim Kunni is expected to become one of the successful Gen Z artists both "at home" and internationally.
Kim Kunni (born 1996) is pursuing music genres such as R&B, dream pop, soul & jazz. Besides singing, Kim Kunni can also play musical instruments such as ukulele, guitar, keyboard. She used to join the band ART Space, making many impressions with soul & jazz style performances at music nights and bars.
The list of young singers attracting attention is growing: Le Vu, Czee Czee (Luong Tran Phu Thien), Hooligan (Le Cong Thanh), Lamoon (Diem Hang). New products on the music market recently also include @cm1x, Wean, Ichiro, Rdee, Madihu... Their products all match the music tastes of today's youth. Above all, I also hope that it is the music that represents the generation of my peers, Gen Z, Gen A, full of youthful energy and freedom."
KayC - owner of "Getting better" - said: "I always keep in mind that I can go slowly but must go very steadily. The music must be of good quality, must satisfy my ego. I want the sounds I bring to the audience to be perfect."

The music product in collaboration with Kriss Ngo called "Basketball" or the remix for the song "Zai pho" by Gill helped Ginger (gung0cay) receive many compliments. The male rapper gung0cay born in 2003 added more about himself after Rap Viet season 3: "I am gung0cay - a rapper who always wants to create new things. In the future, I will still be me. However, gung0cay's music will always be unpredictable and attractive as usual."

Recently, rapper gung0cay has collaborated with Lil Vux and producer Kriss Ngo to release a new music product called "ZONE". The song was released right after this contestant completed his performance in the Rap Viet Breakthrough round season 3. "ZONE" is a song that has been cherished for 2 years, Lil Vux is described by gung0cay as "super compatible in music"; gung0cay affirmed that he did not encounter too many difficulties when making music because "music is in his blood", therefore, every stage in the song was carried out smoothly.
At Rap Viet season 1, Ginger, then 17 years old, made Binz comment that he was "on par" with Tage - a new phenomenon of the Underground scene in 2020. Appearing at Rap Viet season 3 episode 1, Ginger with the new rap name gung0cay became a notable name when he conquered the golden hat from coach B Ray - Big Daddy.

Musician Huy Tuan acknowledged: "We are witnessing the breakthrough maturity of the young generation. They are the ones who paint a new picture of Vietnamese music with many different elements. Good or bad, we do not discuss. But certainly their contribution, especially their contribution together, will create new vitality for Vietnamese music."
Musician Nguyen Hoang Duy said: "The music of the current young generation has a distinct personal color, but to stand out in the market requires great effort."
