The online running project for the community, UpRace 2025, will officially return with the message "Every Step Matters". To increase the project's reach, the "offline" running event UpRace Day 2025 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 14, expected to attract about 2,000 participants in the following distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km.
In the 7th season, UpRace chose the message "Every step has meaning" as the criteria throughout the project, focusing on the experiences and emotions of the participants, emphasizing the value of perseverance. Without setting a target on the number of kilometers, UpRace 2025 expects a larger number of participants to run, focusing on the experience and creating meaningful stories together.

UpRace 2025 community running project accompanies three social organizations
During the 24-day journey, each running team from businesses, schools, and communities will record their achievements on the UpRace application. Each kilometer is equivalent to 1,000 VND and this amount will be converted by sponsors into a fund to support social organizations to help premature babies be saved in time, wheelchairs help people with disabilities move confidently to earn a living, or children in the highlands keep their dream of going to school...
This year, the Dream Creation Fund (DMF), VNG and CP Paper Joint Stock Company (CP Paper) are the three strategic sponsors of the event and the funds raised will go to three prestigious social organizations that have been associated with UpRace for many years, including Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Association for the Support of Vietnamese Disabled and Orphans (ASVDO) and the Center for Supporting the Development of Care for Mothers and Newborns in Vietnam (Newborn Vietnam, formerly known as Newborn Vietnam).
UpRace 2025 is the second year that the Vietnam Maternal and Newborn Care Development Support Center has participated in the UpRace project. Millions of steps from UpRace 2025 are expected to support 388 Newborn Life Support (NLS) scholarships for healthcare workers, and training courses that will help give thousands of newborn babies in Vietnam a chance at life.
With the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, 8,000 students in ethnic minority and island areas with difficult circumstances will continue to realize their dream of going to school in the 2025-2026 school year.
Meanwhile, ASVDO hopes that UpRace 2025's contribution will create conditions for the Association to be able to donate wheelchairs, and at the same time support capital and livelihoods for people with disabilities at the rate of 15 million VND/month, helping them to be proactive in moving, reducing dependence and inferiority complex to proactively build their own lives.
In particular, all three social organizations will focus support activities in localities that have suffered heavy damage from natural disasters and floods in recent times.

Actress Kha Ngan and athlete Tran Van Dang are ambassadors of the project.
As usual, this year's UpRace also has the participation of two ambassadors: Actress Kha Ngan and athlete Tran Van Dang. In addition, UpRace 2025 also has the participation of many famous running clubs from all over the country such as: GreenStar Runners, Ba Mien Runners, Hoa Vang Runners - Da Nang, Quang Nam Runners, Nha Trang Runners, Nghe An Runners, Thang Long Runners - TLR, VBRC - Vungtau Beach Running Club, Adidas Runner Saigon, Asics Running Club Vietnam...
During its 6-year journey, UpRace has demonstrated the widespread influence of the charity model based on sports activities, attracting more than 632,000 participants and contributing more than 31.8 billion VND to social organizations. In 2023, nearly 7 million km of running - equivalent to 7 billion VND - brought scholarships to thousands of students in disadvantaged areas, created livelihoods for people with disabilities, supported high-risk newborns or implemented forest planting projects to protect the ecosystem.
