Minh Huong was born in 1985, studied the Pipa Department at the Vietnam National Academy of Music but is known to the audience as an actress, most famously in the film Vang Anh's Diary broadcast on VTV in 2007.
After her first success on screen at the age of 22, Minh Huong continued to appear in the movie that caused a fever in 2016 - Zippo, Mustard and Me with the participation of Manh Truong, Viet Anh, Hong Dang, La Thanh Huyen.
However, the actress was absent from the screen for a long time after that to focus on her work as an MC and editor of the People's Police TV channel - ANTV. Minh Huong informed that she officially joined the police force in 2018 and was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain in June 2024 at the age of 39.
Minh Huong shared: "The opportunity brought Huong to art, music , then cinema, along with the roles and the opportunity brought Huong to the position of a TV editor of the People's Police. Each job gave Huong valuable experiences to discover herself, understand herself better, know what she can do and how hard she has to work.
Life is a series of choices, choosing to lose something to gain something else. When deciding to enter the police force, Huong always thought that she would gain more than she would lose. Huong was exposed to and worked in a formal, serious environment, was well-trained and was given official information to the people. Putting on the military uniform, from the first time until now, has always been something extremely sacred and proud for Huong."
On her personal page, the actress often shares pictures of herself wearing the uniform of the People's Public Security Force with special pride. To serve her work, Minh Huong also studied for a master's degree in Journalism and Media Management at the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
Being busy with her work as a journalist, Minh Huong finds it difficult to arrange her time with film crews. After returning to the screen with a supporting role in 11 Thang May Day 2021, last year Minh Huong continued to play the role of a police officer in Investigation Team No. 7.
The mother of two said she has no plans to return to acting after finishing her role as a criminal police officer in Investigation Team No. 7.
