On October 13, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the results of the City-level Excellent Student Exam and selected the team to participate in the National Excellent Student Exam for the 2025-2026 school year.

Teachers and students of Newton Secondary School were jubilant and happy to receive excellent results: ranked in the top 5 (out of 237) High Schools with the highest results in the City's excellent student exam. In particular, Newton School had 9 students selected to be in the excellent student team to participate in the National Excellent Student Exam, spread across 5 subjects: 5 students - Math team, 1 student - Physics team, 1 student - Chemistry team, 1 student - Biology team and especially 1 student - Russian team.

In the 2024-2025 school year, for the first time, Newton Secondary and High School has students selected to participate in the National Excellent Student Competition with 5 students taking the exam in 2 subjects: Math and Physics. Newton School is also proud to be the private school with the highest number of students participating in the National Excellent Student Competition in the capital.

Inheriting the achievements from the previous school year, this school year, Newton School has made a breakthrough with 9 students participating in the National Excellent Student Exam (nearly doubling the number). Thus, this school year, teachers and students of the school have increased both the number and expanded the number of subjects participating in the prestigious National Excellent Student Exam. Newton School continues to be the private school with the largest number of excellent students participating in the National Excellent Student Exam in Hanoi.

The number of excellent students who passed the exam is impressive: 10th and 11th graders who won prizes account for approximately 70% . At Newton School, the training of excellent students is continued between courses. Notably, among the 9 students selected for the National Gifted Student Team, there is 1 10th grader, who is one of the 3 youngest candidates of the Hanoi team participating in the National Gifted Student Exam this year (2 students from Amsterdam School and 1 student from Newton School). This achievement not only reflects the outstanding abilities and qualities of the NGSers but also shows the investment in the model of the school's Scholarship Hunting classes.
