Conditions for Chelsea to recruit Garnacho

Chelsea are considering selling a number of players before signing Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons in the remainder of the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports , the three names Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson and Tyrique George could leave Chelsea in the remaining 2 weeks of the summer transfer window. If all three players find new destinations, Chelsea will step up negotiations to recruit Garnacho and Simons.

However, in case one of the three faces above does not leave the team, the possibility of Chelsea signing only one new player or even no one is very high.

The Telegraph reported that Chelsea valued Garnacho at £30 million. However, this figure did not satisfy MU, as the team wanted to collect £50 million for the Argentine midfielder.

Garnacho is very eager to move to Chelsea and has asked his parent club to let him join "The Blues". Previously, Chelsea had long negotiations with MU, especially when the Manchester team once valued Garnacho at up to 70 million pounds. However, to help the Argentine midfielder find a new destination quickly, MU accepted a discount.

On August 12, Garnacho reportedly gave MU an ultimatum, implying that he would not choose to join any other club other than Chelsea. If he fails, Garnacho will accept to sit on the bench next season but still receive his full salary.

Meanwhile, Chelsea also considered letting Nkunku return to Leipzig in a deal to sign Simons, but no formal offer has been made.
