At the Eurosatory Exhibition, the Vietnamese delegation will participate in bilateral meetings and diplomatic meetings with representatives of the Army General Staff and the Armament Service/Ministry of the French Republic Army.

On the morning of June 17, at the Villepinte Exhibition Center, north of Paris, the Eurosatory military weapons exhibition opened with the presence of many generals and officers of the French Ministry of the Army and military delegations from many countries around the world.
The Vietnamese delegation was led by Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, attending the event.
Held every two years for the past 55 years, Eurosatory is one of the world's largest military equipment exhibitions, attended by leading defence companies.
Taking place from June 17-21, Eurosatory 2024 Exhibition brings together more than 2,000 booths with the participation mainly of the French Ministry of the Army and 62 other countries, on an exhibition space of more than 166,000m2.
It is expected that during the 5-day event, Eurosatory will welcome about 62,000 visitors from 150 countries, including 250 official delegations from 96 countries.
As a meeting point for defence and security experts from all over the world, Eurosatory offers the opportunity to meet experts, industrialists, public and private stakeholders, and to exchange and explore the most advanced military technologies.
From drones to vehicle interceptors, from Himars missile launchers to remote target detection radars, from cutting-edge weapons to modern military clothing…, about 500 latest products are introduced on this occasion to provide visitors and organizations with a variety of solutions and services.

According to the Organizing Committee, Eurosatory 2024 takes place in a context where the world must adapt to global changes around three main areas: Security, Defense and Crisis Response.
Countries face major challenges such as the global pandemic, the resurgence of conflicts and the need for ecological transition.
In this context, countries need to strengthen their capacity to face increasingly diverse threats such as humanitarian, environmental, health, climate, industrial or natural.
Since 1998, at the invitation of the host country's Organizing Committee, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense has sent a delegation to Eurosatory, thereby learning about new technologies, updating scientific and technical advances, equipment development trends of armies of other countries, as well as promoting cooperation opportunities.
Within the framework of this year's exhibition, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense delegation will visit booths and product display areas of a number of defense industry enterprises and corporations.
The delegation will also attend reception activities, bilateral meetings, and diplomatic meetings with representatives of the Army General Staff and the Armament Service/Ministry of the French Republic./.
