A delegation of officials from Hai Duong province visited and worked in Suwon City (South Korea).

Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, presented a commemorative gift to Mayor Lee Jae Joon of Suwon City.

During the meeting and courtesy call with Suwon City Mayor Lee Jae Joon, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, discussed the potential and strengths of Hai Duong province, and the socio-economic development situation of the province in the first nine months of this year.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council expressed his wish for the two localities to continue to have many activities connecting economic development, cultural exchange, and tourism and trade promotion.

Hai Duong and Suwon City will continue to strengthen cooperation in areas such as youth and citizen exchanges; culture, arts, and sports... The two sides will also explore potential cooperation in other fields such as education and training, trade, etc.

Mayor Lee Jae Joon highly appreciated the warm welcome from the leaders of Hai Duong province whenever the Suwon City delegation visited Hai Duong for work and experience exchange. The mayor stated that Suwon City also wishes to continue cooperating with Hai Duong on the issues already agreed upon. Furthermore, Suwon hopes to have the opportunity to hold a friendly badminton match with Hai Duong.

At the opening ceremony of the 61st Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival, the Hai Duong art troupe performed three unique and captivating singing, dancing, and fashion shows: "Drum Dance," "Fragrance and Charm of Vietnam."

During their visit to Suwon City, the delegation from Hai Duong province and other international delegations met with the Chairman of the Suwon City Council and paid a courtesy call to the First Vice Mayor of Suwon City.
