The Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities accepts "foster children"

On the morning of March 24, 2024, the Youth Union of Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHĐ) and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organizations in Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province participated in the program "Foster Children of the Union" at First Team Garment Company Limited in Loc Son Industrial Park. The program was organized by Bao Loc City Youth Union for the Youth Unions to sponsor disadvantaged children in the area.

Through the program, the Youth Union of the DHĐ Company coordinated with the Youth Union of Loc Son Ward to learn about the real life of disadvantaged children living in the ward. The two units adopted little girl Le Ngoc Dan Minh as "The Union's foster sister" and provided her with monthly material support.

Baby Le Ngoc Dan Minh has become the "adopted brother" of the Youth Union of the Company.

Le Ngoc Dan Minh is 5 years old and is studying in the Kindergarten class at Huong Duong Private Kindergarten, Loc Son Ward, Bao Loc City. Her family is in difficult circumstances, her father is sick and her mother is a worker at First Team Garment Company Limited.

According to the evaluation of the members at the event, "The Youth Union's Foster Children" is a humane program with many positive meanings, demonstrating the companionship of the Youth Union with students and children in difficult circumstances to help them rise up in life. This is also a meaningful activity of the Union in Youth Month 2024.

Up to now, the model “Youth Union’s foster children” has received the trust of young people, the support of local authorities and social organizations. In which, the Youth Union plays a key role in supporting students and children in difficult circumstances with enthusiasm and love.

In addition to material support, the Youth Union branches also regularly visit and encourage their "adopted children" in life, promptly support them in their studies; and at the same time, be their spiritual support .
