Delegation of Military Region 5 offered incense at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and the Martyrs Cemetery of Quang Nam province.

On the afternoon of July 22, the Military Region 5 delegation led by Major General Hua Van Tuong - Deputy Commander of the Military Region offered incense and laid wreaths at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and the Martyrs' Cemetery of Quang Nam Province; visited the Memorial House of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu and presented gifts to the Center for Nurturing People with Meritorious Services of Quang Nam Province. Joining the delegation was Major General Doan Van Nhat - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Military Region.

Visiting the Martyrs' Cemetery of Quang Nam province and the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Major General Hua Van Tuong and the delegation respectfully offered incense to express gratitude for the noble sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroic martyrs, and outstanding children of the nation who devoted their whole lives to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Visiting and offering incense at the house of Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu (Dien Thang Trung Commune, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province), the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of Mother Thu in the struggle for national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Here, the Deputy Commander of the Military Region kindly visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Heroic Mother Le Thi Tri (102 years old, daughter of Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu).

Kindly inquire about the health of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and meritorious people being cared for and supported at the Center for Nurturing Meritorious People in Quang Nam Province

At the Center for the Care of Meritorious People in Quang Nam Province, after kindly asking about the health of the wounded, sick soldiers, and meritorious people being cared for and supported here, Major General Hua Van Tuong, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region Command, presented gifts to the staff of the center and 47 meritorious people being cared for here.

In addition, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , the Deputy Commander of the Military Region transferred gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to the Quang Nam Province Center for Nurturing Revolutionary Meritorious People (10 million VND) and 47 meritorious people (each worth 2 million VND).
