Phu Tho National Assembly Delegation inspects educational facilities in Viet Tri ward

On August 20, the working delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Tho province surveyed the implementation of the Resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units in Viet Tri ward.

The delegation visited and inspected Gia Cam Primary School and Viet Tri Ward Public Administration Service Center.

Viet Tri Ward was established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population size of 5 commune-level administrative units, including wards: Tan Dan, Gia Cam, Minh Nong, Duu Lau and Trung Vuong commune.

After the merger, Viet Tri ward has a natural area of 25.83km2 and a population of about 73,000 people.

Up to now, Viet Tri ward has completed the organization and apparatus of the People's Council and People's Committee.

The ward has completed the reception to manage preschool, primary and secondary education units in the area according to regulations (including 21 public educational institutions; 7 non-public preschools and 13 private independent preschools; 1 general school with many levels).

According to the Ward's report, after receiving 21 public educational institutions in their original state, the entire ward was assigned 707 civil servant quotas, currently there are 700 people, 7 people short of the assigned quota.

The ward public administration service center has been in operation since July 1. It has publicly posted administrative procedures online and on the posting board at the center with a total of over 2,220 procedures.

As of August 13, a total of over 4,900 organizations and individuals have submitted applications online via the National Public Service Portal and come to the People's Committee of Viet Tri Ward to receive instructions and carry out administrative procedures.

At the working session, the working delegation and leaders of Viet Tri ward, neighboring wards and communes discussed a number of issues related to receiving and handling administrative procedures, digital transformation after the rearrangement; work on reorganizing the apparatus; solving difficulties due to many changes in the civil servant team, inappropriate specialties and expertise while the workload increased; management of assets handed over from wards, communes and the (old) city, etc.

Speaking at the working session, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Phu Tho Province Bui Minh Chau emphasized: In order to promptly overcome shortcomings, limitations and remove difficulties, obstacles and inadequacies, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to closely monitor departments, especially vertical branches of agencies located in the province, to coordinate in implementing and removing obstacles in data systems and software to ensure timely resolution of administrative procedures to serve people and businesses.

Request local leaders to continue reviewing and promptly reporting to competent authorities on difficulties and problems caused by policies and mechanisms and by superiors for synthesis, reflection and immediate resolution; take over facilities from superiors and use them in accordance with regulations and functions, avoiding loss and waste; review and complete the handover of work and projects.

The delegation of National Assembly deputies and National Assembly deputies of Phu Tho province will receive opinions from localities, sectors, levels and people in the province on general issues and especially difficult and complicated issues, especially regarding institutions and policies on administrative unit arrangement and organization of two-level local government.
