The delegation included comrades: Phuong Thi Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dang Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province.

50 years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our army and people carried out the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, successfully ending the resistance war against the US to save the country, completely liberating the South, unifying the country, opening a new era: the era of national independence and socialism. 50 years have passed, from the pain of war, the country has risen strongly to build a peaceful, stable, developed Vietnam, deeply integrated with the world. Together with the whole country, Bac Kan province has gradually healed the wounds of war, developed the economy, improved people's lives, and built Bac Kan to become more and more developed.

In a sacred and solemn atmosphere, the provincial leaders offered incense and laid wreaths at the Na Tu historical site. Here, in 1951, Uncle Ho gave the Youth Volunteers four immortal verses: “Nothing is difficult/Only fear of not being steadfast/Digging mountains and filling seas/With determination, it will be done”. The verses Uncle Ho gave have become a compass, a motto for action accompanying Vietnamese youth throughout the years of resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism and the journey of building and defending the Fatherland.

Here, the delegation representing the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Kan province lit incense and respectfully bowed to express their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of Vietnam, National Liberation Hero, and World Cultural Celebrity.

Next, the provincial leaders offered incense and laid wreaths to pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs at the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery and the Phu Thong Fort Historical Site. In a solemn atmosphere, the provincial leaders observed a moment of silence to express their deep gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and the construction and protection of the Fatherland. In the heroic struggle for national liberation and protection of the Fatherland, millions of outstanding sons and daughters of the country, including those of Bac Kan province, devoted their youth and bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Their blood has colored the glorious flag of the Party and the Fatherland, so that our country "Blooms with independence and bears the fruit of freedom".

Provincial leaders offer incense to heroic martyrs

Before the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Kan pledge to stand firm under the Party's leadership, unite, promote traditions, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, strive to compete in labor, production and socio-economic development, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Bac Kan Provincial Party Congress and the 13th National Party Congress.
