Historical moments
To the sound of heroic military music, Russian military units marched through Red Square. Leading the parade was the infantry, followed by armored vehicles, artillery and other armed forces, symbolizing the strength and indomitable will of the Russian army.
The highlight of the ceremony was the air show by the Russian Air Force. A series of modern fighter jets participated, notably the MiG-29, Su-30SM and six Su-25BM. Footage from GoPro cameras mounted on the aircraft captured the spectacular moment called the “Kubinka Diamond” that left the audience in awe.
Show in the sky of Moscow
The Moscow sky lit up as MiG-29s and Su-30SMs performed the "Kubinka Diamond" roll – one of the most beautiful and complex formations of the Russian Air Force. With smooth coordination and skillful techniques, the pilots created a stunning performance against the deep blue sky.
Soon after, six Su-25BMs appeared, arranged in a V formation and belching red, white and blue smoke – symbolizing the Russian flag. The capital’s sky was ablaze with the three symbolic colors, evoking strong national pride.
Symbol of victory and unity
Not only is it an occasion to remember the fallen heroes of the Great Patriotic War, this year's celebration is also a symbol of Russia's military might and unity. The performances not only affirm the position of the Air Force, but also demonstrate the honor of the glorious history and the deep gratitude of future generations.
The ceremony lasted about two hours, with many solemn and meaningful performances. Russian people and tourists gathered in large numbers at Red Square to witness this historic event. Meanwhile, millions of others watched on television and online platforms, sharing their pride in a resilient and indomitable Russia./.
