Comrade Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was pleased to welcome the members of the Standing Committee, Heads of the Party Inspection Committee, Inspectors of the three provinces of Phoong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Xay, Luang-Pha-Bang to visit and hold talks in Dien Bien province. The visit and working session is a very meaningful activity to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Dien Bien province and the three provinces, contributing to fostering the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Inform the delegation about some outstanding results that Dien Bien province has achieved in the past time. Accordingly, in the period of 2022 - 2024, the average GRDP growth rate of the province will reach over 7%/year (in the first 6 months of 2024, it increased by 8.75%), the average income will reach 42 million VND/person/year (equivalent to nearly 1,700 USD). The province's infrastructure has been gradually completed, accelerated, and a number of key infrastructure projects have been completed with positive impacts on growth.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and the Party Inspection Commission, Inspectorates of the three provinces of Phoong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Say, Luong-Pha-Bang to actively propagate andeducate the revolutionary tradition, the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and between Dien Bien province and the three provinces of Phoong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Say, Luong-Pha-Bang. Regularly organize meetings, exchange information, professional and technical experience in the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party and State Inspectorate in the form of rotating chair; proactively advise the Party committees and authorities of the provinces to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of cooperation in all fields.
The leaders of the Party Inspection Committee and Inspectorate of the three provinces of Phoong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Xay, Luang-Pha-Bang were pleased with the results that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province have achieved in the past time. They believe that in the coming time, Dien Bien province will continue to achieve more achievements in socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security; especially the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Dien Bien province and the three provinces of Phoong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Xay, Luang-Pha-Bang will be increasingly consolidated and developed.
Next, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and the Party Inspection Commission and Inspectorates of the three provinces of Phong-Sa-Ly, U-Dom-Xay, and Luang-Pha-Bang came to offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield Martyrs' Temple and Tong Khao Martyrs' Cemetery.
