Traditional meeting of Unit 45C1 - Quang Tri Armed Security

This morning, June 20, Unit 45C1 - Quang Tri Armed Security during the anti-American war to save the country held a traditional meeting to celebrate the 65th anniversary of its founding (1960 - 2025).

Unit 45C1 - Quang Tri Armed Security during the anti-American war for national salvation was established in April 1960 with the task of directly protecting the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee; revolutionary bases; key leaders of the province and district; participating in building revolutionary bases in the communes of Western Quang Tri; directly mobilizing the masses to organize the construction and training of guerrillas; deploying forces to border areas and plains to serve the destruction of pliers, strategic hamlets...; protecting the secrets and safety of corridors, liaison stations in the whole province and the North-South transportation route.

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Unit 45C1 - Quang Tri Armed Security firmly held its ground in Quang Tri to protect the safety of Party and State leaders; participated in many ambushes, anti-sweeps, and destroyed enemy posts...

The meeting was an opportunity for former officers of Unit 45C1 - Quang Tri Armed Security to review the heroic tradition of the unit and commemorate comrades who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
