On November 10, Bac Ly Primary School No. 2 (Dong Thuan Ward, Quang Tri Province) issued Document No. 260/TB-THS2BL on implementing a civilized and frugal lifestyle on the occasion of November 20 and holidays and Tet.
According to the announcement, the school requires homeroom teachers and parents not to discuss, donate or pay money to visit teachers, and not to use the parent association fund to give gifts to the school board or teachers.

The document clearly states that it is strictly forbidden to collect class funds or money from parents in any form, as well as not to organize extra classes for primary school students.
In addition, the school emphasizes that the implementation of socialized education activities must be voluntary, not equal, and not put pressure on parents. School accountants are required to publicly and transparently disclose contributions in accordance with legal regulations.

Speaking with Vietnam Law, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Principal of Bac Ly Primary School No. 2 said that currently many parents are still facing economic difficulties, especially families with two to three children studying.
“The policy of not collecting money for visits or gifts on November 20 or other holidays aims to reduce the financial burden on parents, while also aiming to express gratitude in spirit and practical actions,” said Ms. Thao.
According to Ms. Thao, the meaning of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 does not lie in its material value, but in the sincere feelings of students and parents for their teachers through wishes, polite gestures and good learning spirit.
This announcement is considered a positive direction, contributing to building a public and transparent educational environment, focusing on professional ethics and the spirit of serving students, so that the 20/11 gratitude day truly returns to its sincere meaning, where the relationship between teachers and students is honored with knowledge and gratitude.
