On the afternoon of November 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a conference to review one year of deploying forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the promulgation of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level marks an important step forward in institutionalizing the Party's viewpoints and policies on building and consolidating forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; building people's security, people's security posture associated with a solid people's hearts posture at the grassroots level.

The establishment of a force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level has overcome the overlapping and dispersion of the three previous forces; thereby, early detection of potential risks and problems right at the grassroots level to handle and prevent them from the root, because all people are at the grassroots level.

The results achieved after one year of deploying the force have contributed to a positive and comprehensive change in the work of protecting security and order at the grassroots level. The number of criminal cases has decreased by more than 8% compared to the same period. The Prime Minister also acknowledged and expressed gratitude to many members of the force who sacrificed and were injured to protect the peaceful and happy life of the people (82 members were injured and especially 7 people sacrificed)...

To improve the effectiveness of the forces supporting security and order at the grassroots level in the coming time, the Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to continue to identify security and order as the cause of the people, by the people and for the people. The forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level participate in conflict resolution, not allowing the formation of security and order hotspots right at the grassroots level...
