Youth Union of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises: Summary of Youth Union work and youth movement in the first 6 months of the year

On June 23, in Ha Long City, the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

The Youth Union of the Bloc launched a peak period to implement the contest to learn about “ Quang Ninh 60 years of construction and development”; the writing contest “Bright examples around us”; the online contest “Learning about the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress”.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Bloc has closely followed the direction of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, proactively, flexibly, creatively, and organized the implementation of the 2023 work program, achieving clear and focused results. Typical activities include propaganda activities, dissemination, and implementation of important Resolutions of the Party, Resolutions, and Action Programs to implement the Resolutions of the 12th Provincial and National Youth Union Congresses, term 2022-2027; successfully organizing activities, projects, and tasks of the Youth Month 2023, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, and activities to participate in the comprehensive digital transformation of Quang Ninh province in 2023.

Notably, the entire delegation mobilized over 800 million VND to organize many practical and meaningful activities such as planting trees; giving gifts to poor households and students in difficult circumstances; organizing 19 medical examinations and treatment sessions, distributing free medicine, 41 voluntary blood donation sessions, collecting over 1,699 units of blood; supporting 11,835 people. In the work of the Youth Union participating in Party building, the whole delegation introduced 88 outstanding members for the Party to consider admission, including 43 comrades were allowed to join the Party; directed the School Bloc to advise the Party Committee to organize a class to foster awareness of the Party for outstanding union members who are students.

Comrade Vu Thi Thuy Linh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Orientation Bloc, discussed and evaluated the results of the Youth Union work and youth movement in the first 6 months of 2023.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Youth Union of the Bloc will focus on effectively implementing the "Youth Volunteer" campaign in the summer of 2023, coordinating the implementation of the "Welcome Gate" youth project in Thanh Lan commune (Co To district) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh province; coordinating to advise on the establishment of a competition team of the Party Committee of the Bloc to participate in the provincial-level dramatization contest to learn about 60 years of building and developing Quang Ninh province; organizing 1 training course to improve digital skills and capacity for Youth Union officials and youth union members; 1 training course on skills and expertise for Youth Union officials in 2023; organizing the Competition for Excellent Youth Union Officials in 2023...

Collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the installation of the Vietnam Youth application and checking the study of the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress were awarded by the Youth Union of the Bloc.

Within the framework of the conference, the Youth Union launched a peak period of implementing the contest to learn about “Quang Ninh 60 years of construction and development”; the writing contest “Bright examples around us”; the online contest “Learning about the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress”.

On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises also commended and rewarded 12 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the installation of the Vietnam Youth application and checking the study of the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress.
