On April 8, the delegation of the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City led by Ms. Annie Dubé visited and worked at THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Do Minh Tam - General Director of THACO INDUSTRIES and Mr. Bui Minh Truc - General Director of THILOGI.
At the meeting, the delegation heard about the development process, learned about the production and business activities of THACO and its subsidiaries; especially heard the report on the 2024 - 2027 production and business plan in the Canadian market of THACO INDUSTRIES. At the same time, the delegation visited the automobile assembly, mechanical, spare parts and components factories and Chu Lai seaport.
The delegation's visit and work aimed to find large-scale, reputable manufacturing enterprises to connect, consult and introduce to Canadian partners and enterprises. The delegation highly appreciated THACO's production scale, technology, equipment and diverse products. The two sides discussed the orientation, potential for cooperation and proposed market development of THACO and THACO INDUSTRIES in Canada.
Speaking at the meeting, Consul General Annie Dubé hoped that THACO and THACO INDUSTRIES would consider establishing a representative office in Canada; especially focusing on accessing the Central Canadian market, as there is a great demand for mining machinery and agricultural equipment. At the same time, the Consulate delegation proposed that THACO INDUSTRIES participate in the Mining Equipment Products Fair in Canada and connect with businesses specializing in agricultural equipment to seek cooperation opportunities in the future.
Receiving the proposals from the Consulate delegation, THACO INDUSTRIES leaders said they will continue to research, develop, and propose specific solutions and plans for development in the Canadian market, first of all participating in the exhibition on April 15-18 in this potential market.
