Investing in mechanical engineering and supporting industries from a very early stage to complement THACO's automobile manufacturing and assembly business, after 22 years, together with the Mechanical Center, THACO INDUSTRIES has established the Components Manufacturing Center in Chu Lai ( Quang Nam ) with a total investment of 550 million USD, comprising 12 factories with modern technology, meeting international standards.

THACO INDUSTRIES is currently a partner of major automotive brands such as Kia, Mazda, BMW, Peugeot, Hyundai, Toyota, Isuzu… in supplying spare parts. Products include: body and chassis components (body parts, truck bodies, dashboard frames, leaf springs…), interior and exterior components (seats, bumpers, glass, ceiling linings, floor mats, interior and exterior plastic components…), powertrain components (wheels, fuel tanks, exhaust pipes…), electrical and air conditioning components (wiring assemblies, air conditioners, condensers…); and exports to markets in North America, Australia, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Poland and ASEAN countries.

To contribute to the development strategy of the THACO brand and meet market demand, THACO INDUSTRIES is continuously upgrading its technology, investing, and inaugurating a series of factories in early 2025, including: a factory for manufacturing automotive body and chassis components, a factory for manufacturing high-end automotive glass, and a factory for manufacturing automotive electrical equipment. These factories have a total area of over 50,000 m2, a total investment of 75 million USD, and are equipped with advanced, high-capacity production lines sourced from the USA, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc., aiming to enhance the production capacity of components and meet export standards.

Along with its production expansion strategy, THACO INDUSTRIES actively researches and applies new technologies and materials to develop a product portfolio tailored to the specific needs of its customers. Simultaneously, the Group focuses on developing the THACO Parts brand, meeting standards such as IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and other global standards for component manufacturing processes to serve the localization needs of automotive manufacturing and assembly businesses.

Simultaneously, THACO INDUSTRIES continues to diversify its supply sources, improve product quality, and increase the efficiency of applying tools such as ERP, MES, and SCADA in digitizing management and production operations, meeting the requirements of sustainable development systems (ESG) and greenhouse gas inventory.

During the period 2023-2027, THACO INDUSTRIES will continue to invest in the passenger car interior complex, cooperate, joint venture, and invest in the technical rubber product manufacturing zone and the high-tech zone in Chu Lai; at the same time, it plans to invest in a factory producing automotive interior and exterior components in the North and a mechanical and supporting industry industrial park in the South.
